David: Each episode features a homeowner asking for help with a project and one of the show’s three experts shows up to lend a hand and advice.

Landscape contractor Roger Cook will come to Fargo to help build a fire pit for a back deck.

The location of the project will be kept secret until the taping is complete. The segment will air in the fall on Prairie Public TV.

The public is invited to meet Cook at a party from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday in front of the Prairie Public offices at 207 5th St. N., Fargo. Brats and root beer will be served and there will be drawings for tools the star has signed. There will also be a version played of the show’s game “What is it?,” in which contestants guess what a home-improvement device does.
